Episode #53: This week on the podcast I am so excited to be joined by Emily Landers.
Emily Landers is a speaker, author, and host of the popular, ‘How’d She Do That?’ Podcast.
A born and raised Texan, now living in Los Angeles with her husband and golden doodle, Maui, Emily is passionate about helping other women realize and pursue their passions.
After graduating from Baylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communication, Emily moved to New York City where she began her career as an intern at Foot Locker Corporate.
During her time in New York, Emily worked in Marketing, Tech PR, and Social Media for both Fortune 500 companies as well as boutique agencies.
At age 23, Emily became the CEO of a tech startup and has since worked with businesses and brands across the country assisting them in her given areas of expertise.
As a natural connector of people, and more time on her hands during 2020, Emily decided to launch her podcast ‘How’d She Do That?’ to highlight the stories of other female entrepreneurs and businesswomen.
How’d She Do That is one of my favorite podcasts. I love listening in on the conversations with her guests and Emily has one of the most beautiful voices I’ve ever heard.
In this conversation, we talk about what prompted her to launch her podcast, how gratitude can help us silence our inner critic, and how we can think about networking to help us connect with more people.
